The cold water constricts your blood vessels, which slows blood flow and relieves some of that swelling and soreness you feel in your muscles after a workout.

After the initial “shock” of stepping into an ice-cold tub of water, many people experience an elevated mood. This is likely due to the release of endorphins, hormones that act as natural painkillers, which have been shown to improve mood and reduce stress.

Sauna facilitates blood circulation

FAQ’S

Is there an age minimum?

Anyone above the age of 16 but under the age of 18 will have to be accompanied by an adult/guardian when visiting.

Is there an age limit?

No, saunas and cold plunges have health and wellness benefits for everyone. If you are concerned about your state of health when using a sauna or cold plunge, consult with your doctor before you book a visit.

What do I wear?

We recommend swimwear or athletic apparel to use the cold tubs and saunas. Each room has a shower so you may change back into dry clothes after your session.

Do I need a membership?

Quick answer, No. Memberships are the best value on a per visit basis. At Do Not Disturb, our mission is to democratize wellness, fostering inclusivity. We are dedicated to providing a space, while curating and empowering a wellness community, to prioritize wellness and develop a routine. Memberships provide 4 monthly credits to use our private contrast rooms and 10% any additional products or services that are purchased.  

Can I bring a guest?

Yes. If you’re a member, 1 guest each visit is complimentary. Otherwise, your guest will be an additional 50%, instead of paying the full price for two people. For example, If you book online and add a guest to checkout, we will discount your guest by 50% on your final invoice after your appointment. Regardless, only two people will be allowed to share the same room at any given appointment.

What if I want to cancel my membership?

We would hate to see you leave, but if you must cancel your membership for whatever reason, you may do so at any time. Please keep in mind that depending on when your membership was activated, you have agreed to a minimum 3 month contract that will still be implemented, if you cancel earlier. Members who have cancelled are allowed to renew their membership at anytime.
